The 2016 Chateau de Come felt a little overripe on the nose. The palate is powerful and very sweet with layers of kirsch and blueberry fruit. The tannins feel gentle, slightly grainy in texture with a nicely balanced finish. It is just the aromatics that feel a little overdone at the moment.
