The 2007 Chateauneuf du Pape blanc is a terrific success. Showing even better after a year in bottle, this blend of 30% barrel-fermented Roussanne and the rest Clairette and Grenache Blanc exhibits lots of floral notes interwoven with tropical fruit, honeysuckle, and lemon zest characteristics. Full-bodied with a beautiful light gold color as well as an enticing texture, it can be consumed over the next 1-2 years.
