Owner/winemaker Mike Neuffer has fashioned an outstanding wine from a blend of 55% Merlot, 27% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Cabernet Franc. Named after his grandmother, the 2002 Camille reveals a medium to dark ruby color and a mouth-watering nose of cookie dough immersed in sweet red fruits. This medium to full-bodied effort is lush, rich, fruit forward, deep, and crammed with cherries, raspberries, as well as blackberries that linger in its long, suave finish. Anticipated maturity: now-2016.
