The 2020 Pommard Les Chanlins 1er Cru comes from calcaire soils, the vines relatively young at 17-years old. Matured in demi-muids, this has a more expressive and terroir-driven bouquet compared to the Les Argillières. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy red fruit, quite marine-driven with a lightly spiced and cohesive finish. Very fine. (NM)
