This Pinot Noir is from three of Goldeneye’s estate Anderson Valley sites: Confluence, Gowan Creek, and The Narrows. It spent 16 months in just about 50% new French oak. This Pinot shows ripeness and spice, with aromas of sasparilla and cola spicing up the rich red and black berries. The palate offers tart notes of blood orange and smoky hints of leather and spice, with a coastal saline minerality to the finish. It remains concentrated and rich throughout. (CP)
